Peas and Gerberas

A few weeks ago Miss D planted a foam box with some Gerbera seedlings and some Cineraria seedlings (plus some of those little carpet flowers that are in the photo?). With all of the loving care that she has given them in the last three weeks they have been growing crazy! The were much too big to keep in the foam box, so today we planted them out into planter boxes...I absolutely love Gerbera's so I cant wait until we get the first flower!

This is the first of the seeds that we planted the other day to come up! We have three pea plants growing...Yay! I must admit I was getting paranoid that none of the seeds were going to germinate in the garden bed. So today (after checking this morning and nothing coming up!) we moved on to plan B and Miss D and I spent this afternoon planting all of the same seeds in the little seed hot house so that I could grow them there and then plant them into the garden as seedlings...maybe I was a bit quick because when we went to water the garden tonight three peas had popped up! Heres hoping the rest will follow...as for our seeds in the hothouse...we will use them somewhere, or if we don't we will give them to friends to use so they won't be wasted.
