Ok. Miss D and I have been spending the last week getting the backyard ready to grow some vegies. Master J and Master N have been helping on and off, but really they are more interested in their latest playstation game.
This is our finished garden beds....the one up the back is in shade for a lot of the day. I am going to plant potatos in it in August but I am trying to think of something to grow in there until then.
This is after our planting today. The garden bed has australian garlic, mixed lettuce, carrots, cabbage, radish, whit onions and peas in it. The peas are planted in the corners to climb up the posts (hopefully!)
The shell pool has silverbeet planted around the edge and cauliflower in the middle...not too sure how this is going to go as they have limited root space...but we thought we would try it anyway.
